  A JWN Member just lost her Husband and She could use some encouragement.

  on 4/6, the poster orphan annie posted about her experiences with jw's and her ill husband.

  unfortunately, her husband died monday, and she is feeling very sad.

  i just wanted to make others aware of it, so that we can encourage her and give her some much needed support during this rough time.. her original thread is here.

  I have to say, this thread dissapointed me.

  It's so sad that people are getting "sick" of someone that they know nothing about...simply because of what news stations are reporting/speculating/lying/sharing opinions about regarding his death. That's pretty horrible.

  Think about it. These were/are real people. I'm sick of some of the ways it's being reported on, but I am NOT sick of hearing about Trayvon and Zimmerman. At all. If some people had their way, this whole case would be treated by the media as unimportant.

  i keep coming across these shows...what are they doing to their poor kids?

  mostly i am refering to tat, which is guilty of glorifying the screaming and yelling at, as well as physically hurting of kids.

  I agree with all of you.

  Except I have to say...I don't think it's so wrong to be your kid's freind...but you DO have to be the parent FIRST. The kids, btw, are acting like brat's because the moms act like brats. The mom's are setting the kids up to be dissapointed when the world doesn't treat them like a diva.
